Stadt Wien Marketing GmbH – Reporting Obligation Pursuant to the Political Parties Act 2012

Pursuant to the Political Parties Act 2012, the Stadt Wien Marketing GmbH reported to the Austrian Court of Audit (ACA) legal transactions with five party investees, which accounted for some EUR 276,000 in 2013. Based on the findings of the ACA, legal transactions with eleven investees totalling some EUR 475,700 EUR would have been relevant for the reporting period.

The difference of some EUR 199,700 was, on the one hand, due to the lack of reporting of legal transactions in the first and the second reporting period. On the other hand, the ambiguous legal definition of a “concluded legal transaction” gave those obliged to report room for interpretation.
